Data Collection

The Loveland Schools Press Online occassionally collects personal information, which may or may not be personally identifiable. Readers have the option of placing (anonymous) in any form field requesting any part of one's name. Valid and correct e-mail addresses must be entered in any form field requiring such information. Such information, unless otherwise noted, will be used only for communicative purposes, such as e-mailing newsletters or verifying personal information.

Cookies

The Loveland Schools Press Online does store cookies on its readers' computers. One such cookie, used for editions, takes note of which edition you choose on our welcome page. This can be easily deleted by using Netscape 6 or Mozilla. The Loveland Schools Press Online currently provides no mechanism for automatically removing this cookie, as it is non-identifyable, and can be changed by going to the welcome page.

Many websites on the Internet now have official seals from organizations which endorse privacy practices. The Loveland Schools Press Online currently does not have such a privacy seal; however, the idea is in consideration. Childrens' Privacy Protection

The Loveland Schools Press Online strives to protect the privacy of all our visitor, especially our young ones. Therefore, we greatly encourage anyone under the age of 12(?) to fill in (anonymous), when asked his/her name. We try our best to conform and support the COPPA.

Expiration

This policy is valid for eight weeks from the time it is loaded by a client, or when it is changed, superceeded, or overridden, whichever comes first.
